The Great Bridal Cover-Up

Ah, the Great Bridal Cover-Up.  No, I am not referring to the fact that prices seem to get jacked up at least 25% when vendors hear the word “wedding”…we will save that topic for another post.

 

I am referring to a cover-up–as in, clothing.  Something that a bride can wear to fend off those chilly nights or simply look like a rock star. A cover-up is a great way to express yourself and your style.

 

Many brides choose the ever popular pashmina. Pashminas come in many different colors, and although a designer pashmina is quite expensive, you can find a large selection of inexpensive pashminas online.  We recommend ebay seller Zen Jen among others.  I have even seen a bride give pashminas to all the female guests as a favor :

The bolero is also a great option. Boleros seem to be slightly more expensive than the pashmina or the cardigan but can really add some flare to a simple and elegant bridal ensemble.

But for the more preppy, fun or casual bride, why not a cardigan or a twin set (minus the tank top)? Cardigans are readily available at any department store and/or online. Check out these great options:
